Get your group together for one of the biggest sporting events of the year! We have provided some tips and ideas on how to throw the perfect Game Day Party.

Tip 1 - Best Dressed Fan

Encourage your group to come dressed in the team colors of who they think/want to win. The craziest and most spirited costume wins a prize!

Prize could be as simple as a

few baked cookies or a gift card.

Tip 2 - Commercial Bingo

Make bingo cards and fill the spaces with brands, logos, popular commercial themes, etc. Wait and see who gets the first line of five.

Create the bingo cards ahead of time and hand them out as your members come in.

Tip 3 - Make a Football Field Cake

If you want to go all out, bake a festive football field sheet cake. Ice the cake with green icing, line and number the field with white icing, and place yellow bendy straws at each end of the cake to act as the field goal posts.

recipes are available online.

Tip 4 - City and Team Trivia

Test your groups' knowledge with trivia about the two teams playing in the game. This will add a bit of competition and keep you entertained during commercial breaks.

Look up some trivia questions ahead

of time and have them prepared

before guests begin to arrive.

Tip 5 - Decorate Sides

Decorate one half of the room with one team's colors and the other half of the room with the other team's colors. Your group can choose what side of the room to sit on.

You can save some money by making

your own team banners and streamers.

Tip 6 - Make a Cheese Dip

Cheese dips are a must at sports event parties. If you choose not to have dinner together, this snack will keep everyone feeling full and satisfied during the game.

Although cheese dip is the most popular, there are a lot of other dip options.

Tip 7 - Most Popular Snacks

Have no idea what snacks to have at your event? Chips, crackers, pretzels, popcorn, raw veggies, and pre-cut fruit are among the most popular.

The cheapest snack options are snacks you can purchase in bulk and pour in

a bowl, like chips or crackers.

Tip 8 - Halftime Performance Predictions

What songs does your group hope to hear from the halftime performer? Make it a game! When your guests arrive, have them write down songs they think will be sung at the halftime performance. The person with the most songs correct, wins!

Have everyone write their predictions on a white board so that everyone can see you check them off during the performance.
